GRUNDY CENTER — The Grundy Center volleyball team got back to even in NICL West Division play with a 3-0 sweep of East Marshall on Tuesday night, taming the Mustangs 25-13, 25-10, 25-9.

Clare Veren led East Marshall (5-8, 0-3) with six kills on the night, but the Mustangs totaled just 11 kills as a team. Noelia Aguilera had five assists and Faith Bandstra added four more, with Jayleigh Pansegrau chipping into the attack with two kills.

J.J. Westendorf led the Mustang defense with 10 digs and Camy Weeks contributed five, but East Marshall came up empty in the blocks column. Aguilera and Westendorf both served 6-for-6 with one ace.
