Marshalltown High School senior Kylee Witt, seated center, signed her National Letter of Intent on Tuesday at Wayward Social, committing to join the Iowa Central Community College bowling team next season. Witt was joined at her signing ceremony by her parents, Virgil and Sandra Witt, and (back row, from left) Iowa Central bowling coaches Haley Hall and Gregg Haden, and MHS head coach DJ Wilder. Witt, a co-captain, has been a starting member of the Bobcat bowling team all four years of her high school career. Last winter she was the runner-up medalist at the CIML Iowa Conference tournament as the Bobcats won the team title, and next year she will join former MHS bowler Ashly Wiegand on the Iowa Central squad. Witt leads Marshalltown this winter with a 174.63 game average and a 349.33 series average, ranking 38th in all of Class 3A, after finishing 19th in the state last season (188.65/377.31).
