Bobcats breeze by Bluejays

BONDURANT — Armonniey Thomas and Prince Jallah carried the Marshalltown boys’ basketball team to a third straight win Thursday night against the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays.

The Bobcats won 63-49 and moved to 6-11 on the season, while the Bluejays dropped to 11-10.

Thomas led all scorers with 25 points, hitting 9-of-19 shot attempts and burying three 3-pointers. Jallah shot 7-for-15 and hit one 3 on his way to a second 20-point outing in three games. He led the Bobcats with nine rebounds and fouled out in the fourth quarter.

Isaiah Borgos scored eight points and Drake Kapayou scored six for the Bobcats, who visit Des Moines Lincoln Friday night hoping to win a fourth-straight game before the end of the regular season.
