MCC put forth a balanced attack with six players each recording at least four kills, including Acosta’s six, en route to a 25-13, 25-12, 25-16 victory over the visiting Eagles. Abby Redmond led the Tigers with 12 kills, Turbi totaled 33 assists, while Isneydy De La Rosa totaled 18 digs and nine kills to help the Tigers take the sweep in their second home match of the season. MCC is back at home on Thursday, hosting Iowa Valley Community College District rival Ellsworth in a 7 p.m. contest.
