Creekmur into IHSAA Football Hall of Fame
CEDAR FALLS — Chanse Creekmur, a 2010 Marshalltown High School graduate, was inducted into the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s Football Hall of Fame during a ceremony at halftime of the Class 5A state championship game on Nov. 22 at the UNI-Dome. Creekmur, third from right, was the starting quarterback on Marshalltown’s 2009 state runner-up squad. He threw for then-school records of 3,589 yards, 256 completions and 35 touchdowns as the Bobcats (13-1) suffered their lone loss in the state championship game.
