A fire erupted on the grounds of the local Hogeland Auto Plaza, 1408 E. Main St. behind the company’s New and Used sign at approximately 3:25 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Here, a MFD aerial truck shoots a powerful stream of water down at the fire. It was unclear what started the fire or extent of damage. Smoke could be seen from several miles away. Crews remained on scene throughout the afternoon. Also responding was city of Marshalltown crews.
