Ranked contest set in Iowa City

IOWA CITY — The Cy-Hawk series will feature a ranked matchup on the women’s side here on Wednesday.
No. 21 Iowa (8-1 overall) will host the 18th-ranked Cyclones (8-2).
Action will begin at 8 p.m. inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
The Hawkeyes are coming off a 78-68 loss to Tennessee where Lucy Olsen scored 23 points.
Iowa is 3-0 at home and ranked seventh in the Big Ten with 17.4 assists per game, led by Emily Ryan averaging 5.3.
The Cyclones have dropped one contest on the road. Iowa State is seventh in college basketball with 19.9 assists per game led by Emily Ryan averaging 7.2.
Iowa is averaging six three-pointers per game, one fewer made shot on average than the seven per game Iowa State allows. The Cyclones average 8.6 made three-pointers per game this season.
Olsen is scoring 18.1 points per game and 4.3 rebounds a night for the Hawkeyes.
Bishop Garrigan graduate Audi Crooks is scoring 19.8 points per contest and 8.3 rebounds a night. Crooks as already eclipsed the 800-point mark in her second season with the Cyclones.
