Accidents
• On Saturday, a car driven by Douglas Mark Creger, of Waverly, was southbound on Highway 14 when it stuck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Creger car was estimated at $3,000.
• On March 18, a car driven by Douglas Mark Creger, of Waverly, was southbound on Highway 14 when it struck a deer resulting in damage to the passenger side front quarter panel. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Creger car was estimated at $3,000.
• On March 12, a vehicle driven by Michael Dean Alexander Jr., of Kansas City, Mo., was westbound on Highway 30 when it went out of control on snow and ice covered roadway, entered the center median where it rolled at least one time before coming to rest on the right side. Alexander was treated at the scene for minor injuries and refused ambulance transportation. Damage to the Alexander vehicle was estimated at $4,000.

Accidents
• On March 16, a car driven by Kara Fleming, 46, of New Providence, was westbound on Highway 175 west of T-55 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Fleming car was estimated at $3,000.
• On March 15, a car driven by John Eiklenborg, 22, of Dike, was eastbound on 160th Street east of S Avenue when it collided with the rear of a car driven by Jeffrey Bakker, 59, of Dike. No injuries were reported. Eiklenborg was cited for failure to maintain control. Damage to the Eiklenborg car was estimated at $2,000 while the Bakker car received an estimated $5,000 in damage.
• On March 8, a vehicle driven by Kayla Anderson, 29, of Holland, was exiting a farm driveway onto 170th Street when it collided with the rear of a Jeep driven by Devon Dalton, 25, of Holland, which was eastbound on 170th Street. No injuries were reported. Anderson was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $12,000 each.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a natural vegetation fire at 2104 Governor Road, and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 207 N. First St., 1601 S. Second St., and 201 N. Second Ave.
March 18
• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an outside rubbish fire at 1108 Fremont St., and two medical assists with the EMS crew to North Third Street and 405 N. 15th Ave.
March 17
• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a good intent call to 716 W. Lincolnway, and six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 6 S. Seventh St., 403 S. Second St., 405 N. Eighth St., 401 NewCastle Road, 2601 Leland Court, and 1206 S. Ninth Ave.
March 16
• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a good intent call to 719 N. Fourth Ave., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1301 Summit St., 604 S. Ninth Ave., and 915 W. Merle Hibbs Blvd.
March 15
• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication of victims from a vehicle on South 12th Avenue, a dispatched/cancelled en route to Summit Street and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 209 N. 12th Ave., 1211 W. State St., 509 Lee St., and 410 E. State St.
March 14
• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a smoke detector activation-no fire-unintentional at 106 College Drive, a dispatched/cancelled en route to 909 Summit St., and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 405 N. Eighth St., 107 N. 17th St., 18th Avenue, 101 W. Main St., 103 Santa Barbara Drive.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/cancelled en route to Highway 30 and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 308 E. Boone St., 1311 W. Boone St., 206 Nicholas Drive, and 105 N. Center St.
