Standing in solidarity against sexual assault

In recognition of April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month, all marked police cars in Marshall County now have a teal blue ribbon magnet on the side of the vehicle — the emblem of this awareness month. Here Trisha Hall, sexual assault advocate at ACCESS, places a magnet on the side of a Marshalltown Police Department patrol vehicle, while Officer Bradley Mauseth looks on. This is the second year local law enforcement officials have used the magnets. In previous years, actual ribbons were tied to the antenna of the vehicles.
