Reeder

A Marshalltown woman was arrested by Marshalltown Police last week for Domestic Assault — Second Offense — according to a police report.

Rebecca Joan Reeder, 41, was taken into custody after officers responded to a disturbance in the 10 block of 7th Avenue South. “The victim, who called in the report, said his former girlfriend had been at the apartment earlier in the day, and after an argument, threatened him with a knife,” said Capt. Brian Batterson of the MPD. “The victim also claimed he was physically assaulted by the suspect. She left prior to the MPD arrival. She was later taken into custody at a local tavern.”

Reeder was later taken to the Marshall County Jail.
