Shirley Austin

Shirley (Halupnick) Austin passed away peacefully, with both daughters at her side, on April 21, 2026, at the age of 86 at Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer, Iowa. She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie (Greg) Taylor, of Lees Summit, MO, and Tammy (Kevin) Herink, of Clutier, IA; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Shirley will be cremated and a private burial service will be held at a later date. Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Tayquan M. Million, 21

Tayquan M. Million, 21, passed away on April 10, 2026, in Marshalltown, Iowa. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Tahchelle Thomas; his grandmother, Rochelle Thomas; his grandfather, Carl Porter; his two uncles; his brothers: Xayvion Thomas, Jayvohn, Jamari Hanyes, and Jamir Thomas; and his three cousins, along with many other family members and friends who loved him dearly. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be held one-hour prior to the funeral.

Alan Craig Harding, 76, formerly of Marshalltown, passed away in Denton, Texas on March 6, 2026. Alan is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Mary Branaugh Harding. They enjoyed a life full of adventures and love. Alan will be deeply missed by sister Karen Harding Poole (Matthew), of Mesa, Arizona, who was extremely close to her beloved brother. John Leroy Pitsenbarger, 77, of Adel, passed away at his home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Adel Chapel.
