Funeral Services for Jerry L. Johnston, 80, were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Beacon Christian Church in Conrad, IA. Rev. Tim Freeman officiated the service with special music provided by Pianist Jackie Stevens. Casket Bearers were David Smith, Paul McKibben, Bradley McKibben, Mathew McKibben, Mark McKibben, Michael Johnson and Barry Johnson. Interment followed the service at the Conrad Cemetery, Conrad, IA. David Spencer, 75, of Gladbrook, passed away surrounded by his family and his dogs on August 25, 2025, at his daughter’s home in Marion, IA. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Tara (Tracy) Webb, Katherine Beach, David (Melissa) Spencer, Carrie (Mike) Motto and Robby (Rory) Spencer; his 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
