Heiden and Carnegie picked for USA 3-on-3

IOWA CITY — University of Iowa sophomores Ava Heiden and transfer Dani Carnegie have been invited to the USA Basketball 3x3 Development Camp and Showcase in Phoenix, it was announced Tuesday by USA Basketball. Heiden and Carnegie will make their USA Basketball debuts. The USA Basketball 3x3 women’s development camp will be held May 6-8. WAUKEE — The Marshalltown boys’ track and field team totaled 25 points to finish eighth out of nine scoring teams at the Waukee Northwest Relays on Thursday night. The Bobcats bagged a pair of bronze-medal performances to lead the way. Carter Nunn clocked the 35th fastest 1,600-meter time in the state this season, finishing in 4 minutes, 25.22 seconds for third place.
