George Keen will be celebrating his 90th birthday on July 11. His family is hosting an open house for him from 2-4 p.m. on July 9 at the Embers Independent Living Community, 1211 W. State St., in the Community Room. Use the south entrance which is toward the west side of the building on the first floor. They will be serving cake, nuts, coffee and lemonade in Keen’s honor.
