Chapter BB hosts variety of meetings

P.E.O. Chapter BB gathered for an initial covered dish luncheon on Sept. 16 at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Each member was asked to bring a food to share that began with the first letter of her last name. The feast included deviled egg dip, asparagus wraps, assorted pickled items that begin with the letter B, a lemon fruit salad and key lime pie. Following the luncheon the regular business meeting was held.

On Oct. 7, the meeting was held at the library. The members were inspired with the presentation by Shelley Goecke “Find your Fireflies.” The program centered around gratitude and how it can light a path to a happy and healthy life. Jane Bauer hosted a tea along with Miriam Bryant and Marcia Plett serving a delicious assortment of tea sandwiches and desserts.

The next business meeting was held on Oct. 21 at Mowry Irvine Mansion and included a book review of “Tending Roses” by Lisa Wingate.
