P.E.O. Chapter BB gathered on Monday at the Mowry Irvine Mansion at 1 p.m. The hostess, Michelle Roseburrough along with the tea committee of Sue Cope and Sandy Short served a delightful fall dessert. The meeting was opened by President Sylvia Lowrance who led the ceremony of initiation for Barbara Lorenzo.

Following the meeting LaDonna Allison and Lowrance led a review of the book “Tending Roses” by Lisa Wingate. The story is a touching tale that reminds us to stop and smell the roses. All agreed that it is a thought-provoking story.

The next regular business meeting will be held on Nov. 4 at the home of Short.
