Twenty-five members of Chapter JU of the P.E.O. Sisterhood met Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church for a business meeting and its annual bazaar. Monies raised in the silent auction are distributed yearly to the various educational projects of the society.

Hostess Margaret Johnson arranged the event and served with the tea committee of Debbie Morgan and Sheryl Thomas.

Two new members, Paula Aalfs and Ann Isgrig, were presented their emblems during the business meeting. Several members outlined steps for nominating candidates for various scholarships provided yearly by the organization.

The next meeting will be the Holiday Social for all local chapters on Dec. 16 at First United Methodist Church with a program by Tuesday Musical. Following the meeting, members enjoyed coffee and dessert while doing final bidding on bazaar items.
