Lions District Gov. Judy Stone spoke to the Marshalltown Lioness on Nov. 11 about the upcoming 20-year anniversary of the Lions KidSight program in Iowa. Since its inception, 12,427 children have had their eyes screened in area schools and daycare facilties, with 7,343 screened by the Lioness and 4,700 screened by the Noon Lions, with 10 percent being referred for eye care.
