Prairieville Ladies begin 2019-2020 year
Prairieville Ladies Club began its 2019-2020 year, Aug. 18 with a family BBQ at Teresa Vokoun’s home, assistants were Laura Haugen, Janet Stackhouse and Kim Jass-Ramirez.
President Renie Loney called the business meeting to order with eight members answering the roll call, “Who was your favorite teacher in school and why?” The treasurer’s report was given and membership dues were collected.
Door prizes went to Loney, Joan Tough, Karen Oaks and Darlene Manz.
The Oct. 12 meeting was a breakfast at Bonita Wunn’s home with Tough and Phyllis Mann assisting. Loney began the meeting with 12 members answering the roll call of, “Do you like or dislike surprises, why or why not?”
Minutes were read and approved and the treasurer’s report given.
The club voted to make donations to ACTS of Albion, Albion Library and Salvation Army. The Holiday breakfast meeting will be Dec. 8 with Oaks, Jeannie Burt and Alyce Quastad hosting.
Door prizes were given to Tracy MacBeth, Ramirez and Stackhouse.
