For the Love of Binford Dinner Event will take place again at Binford House on Feb. 14 and 15. The social time at 5:30 p.m. will feature charcuterie and the wine only that guests bring and open and available sparkling cider.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in the Victorian atmosphere with dinner at 6 p.m. with your spouse, friend or significant-other. The dinner will include your choice of main entree of prime rib, salmon or Marsala chicken along with a mixed green salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing on the side, oven roasted potatoes, roasted medley of vegetables, roll and bread with butter.

Completing the meal will be a chocolate layer cake with mousse, ganache frosting topped with a strawberry, along with coffee and tea served by board members of the Marshalltown Federation of Women’s Clubs who own, protect, maintain and decorate Binford House according to Joann Neven, secretary.

The cost is $40 per person by calling 641-753-5450 for reservations by Feb. 7 with your choice of entree. There will be gift drawing of certificates from Hellberg’s Jewelers, 9th Street Art and Frame and glass items. Binford House is located at 110 N. Second Ave. in Marshalltown.
