Chapter DA makes plans for state convention

Chapter DA of the National TTT Society met on March 3 at Loretta Trullinger’s home. Doris Langenbau assisted the hostess.

President Erma Meyer called the meeting to order. The Feb. 2 minutes were read and approved. The treasurer gave her report and it will be filed for audit. All standing committees functioned. Sharon Brimmer reported she had contacted three former campers regarding college scholarships they would be eligible for but none had called her back. She has been in contact with the nurse at Anson Elementary School and two forth grade girls from Anson have been selected for the chapter to send to camp this summer.

Meyer announced that the State TTT Convention will be held on March 27-28 in Grinnell. Brimmer, Judy Roads, Langenbau, Jean Miller and Trullinger plan to attend. The chapter voted to donate a monetary gift to the project fund.

The Founders celebration was also discussed. It will be held at 6:30 p.m. on April 14 at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Chapters ET and FR will be sent invitations. The menu and other details were planned.

Miller thanked Trullinger and Langenbau for hosting the meeting and they served refreshments.
