Prairieville Ladies host potluck dinner
The annual Prairieville Ladies potluck dinner was held this year at the Kopper Kettle in the Vets Home with Darlene Manz, Renie Loney and Tracy MacBeth hosting. Thirteen members and their families enjoyed delicious hot entries and several dessert choices.
President Loney called the business meeting to order with the roll call, “Which do you like better-dog or cat? Why?” The minutes and treasurer’s report were read and approved.
In new business, all members are asked to bring canned or dry food items for the food box to the next meeting. Hostess gifts went to Joan Tough, Janet Stackhouse and Alice Quastad.
The next meeting will be a breakfast held at the Mowry/Irvine Historical Society Mansion on April 18. After the meeting was adjourned, the group enjoyed hearing about Quastad’s trip to Australia and nearby islands.
