Army veterans and brother in laws were awarded a quilt of Valor at the home of cousin Marvis Drew. Allan Hauschildt and Keith Poling served during Vietnam. Hauschildt’s quilt — Stars and Stripes — was pieced by Cheryl Kupka and quilted by Marybeth Pusillo. Poling’s Army Panel quilt was pieced and quilted by Marvis Drew. Both were awarded on behalf of Central Iowa Quilt Sew-ciety.
