Members of PEO Chapter MJ gathered for a social meeting on Monday, August 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gallery Garden on Main in downtown Marshalltown. Their purpose was to celebrate 50 years of becoming a chapter of PEO. Many memories were shared by fellow Chapter MJ sisters. Barb Runneals, one of the original 14 Charter Members, told of her part in forming the new chapter. She also reminisced about the other Charter Member sisters and where they are now. Refreshments were served by Charlene Martin and Janice Ott. The next regular meeting will be held on Monday, September 20 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
