Chapter MJ meets in person

This was the first time since the pandemic began that the chapter met in person. There were 16 members present.

Reports were given on the International Peace Project, Star Scholarship and Cottey College. President Rheba Yost reviewed proposed amendments to be voted upon at the September International PEO Convention.

Past President Daryl Kelehan told of her upcoming move out-of-state. Everyone wished her well in her new home and thanked her for all her hard work for Chapter MJ.

The next meeting will be social at 7 p.m. on Aug. 16 at the Gardens on Main in downtown Marshalltown. The 50th anniversary of PEO Chapter MJ will be celebrated at this time.
