Beta Sigma Phi collects for special projects
Sigma Master Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi met for lunch at Legends on Oct. 12. Nine members and two guests opened the meeting answering the question: “What is your favorite fall color?”
President Diane Hobson thanked Bonnie Speas for hosting. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved, along with Barb Noid giving the treasurer’s report stating all but one dues not paid.
Health reports were given by those present and absent also, as Dorothy Perry receives calls from those to be excused.
Stamps were collected and will be sent to the Wounded Warriors. Hobson indicated that you can save stamps from letters received that are new and different, not the “forever stamps.” Rada cutlery catalogs were given to those who had requested. Aluminum tabs were also collected.
A suggestion for a service project for November was proposed with various ideas presented, and a motion was made to table until the next meeting as members will only have one meeting in November.
The meeting adjourned announcing the next meeting will be Oct. 26 at Dairy Queen on South Center Street with Alice Nicholson hosting.
