On Nov. 3, the Marshalltown Evening Lions met at the Elmwood Country Club for a regular meeting. Among the four guests, Kendra Sorensen, director of the United Way was the program and spoke to the club about the 28 agencies and 34 programs. Sorensen presented a short promotional video and answered questions about the United Way. The Marshalltown Evening Lions will be seen popping corn at Hy-Vee on Saturdays and will have a Christmas Party for its members on Dec. 11.
