Sigma Master Chapter met for the first time since May 10 at El Portal for lunch on Sept. 13. Eight members and two guests answered roll call to: “What do you like/dislike about fall?”

President Diane Hobson opened the meeting thanking Dorothy Perry for hosting (on her 90th birthday). Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved, and Barb Noid gave the treasurer’s report and then collected the $20 dues for the year. Hobson reminded the girls to continue collecting pop tabs and stamps.

Report of absent member Ginny Bumsted stating she is now residing at Grandview Nursing Home as “thinking of you” cards would be appreciated.

Caralee Hutchens presented the program book for those present and one will be sent to absent members. The next meeting will be Oct. 11 with Elaine Fiscus hosting as it was voted on to have only one meeting per month.

As a “Show and Tell” Perry brought her beautiful “Grandma” blanket made by her granddaughter with pictures of all the family outlined along wonderful wording of love in the center.
