At the Nov. 7 meeting of P.E.O. Chapter JU, Eleanor Stegmann was honored with a 50-year gold pin and flowers presented by President Alix Martin (left to right) for 50 years of membership and dedicated service to the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Stegmann served on numerous committees and in many offices including the chapter’s president, historian and 17 years in the president’s role in the initiation ceremony. Margaret Johnson served as hostess for the meeting held at Trinity Lutheran Church, and she along with Debbie Morgan and Sheryl Thomas, served on the tea committee. The next meeting will be a Christmas Social on Dec. 5 at the First United Methodist Church.
