P.E.O. Chapter LT members met at 1 p.m. on Feb. 6 at the Marshalltown Public Library with 11 members making Valentines thanks to Hostess Kay Iverson and Tea Committee, Rhonda Miller.

They provided the Valentines, cookies, quilted hearts and hearts to lace along with candy for those members not at the meeting. The meeting was conducted by president, Lisa Koester. Karen Berger presented Miller her P.E.O. past president gavel guard for two years of service.

The 2023-24 Year Book is being prepared for print. Gina Ruddock prepared the P.E.O Peace Scholarship Program for the computer. Berger reported that Marshalltown High School counselor has information for senior women to apply for 2 — $500 college scholarships by April 1 given by Chapter

LT for the 2023-24 year.

The chapter members will have a social at 9 a.m. on Feb. 20 at Tremont on Main.
