P.E.O. Chapter LT visited the House of Compassion ar 1 p.m. on April 3 with 12 members in attendance with Lisa Koester, president presiding. Chad Hammer, executive director, share current service offerings of the Soup Kitchen, Supply Closet, Client Services of limited financial assistance for specific needs and JobPath Program, Financial Literacy classes, along with Special Programing of Marshalltown Community College Scholarships, Adopt a Family at Christmas, English as a Second Language and ISU Extension weekly education food, nutrition and smart shopping classes. Members shared items for the Supply closet.

The regular business meeting was held with the next meeting to be held at 1 p.m. on May 1 with initiation of a new member at the Marshalltown Public Library.

The tea committee was Kim Soggee and Sharon Jensen.
