He was awarded a Quilt of Valor by members of the Central Iowa Quilt Sew-ciety Marvis Drew, Kate Walker and Charlene Hulin. CiQS meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Grace Church on South Sixth Street in Marshalltown. Amber Danielson director for the Arts and Cultural Alliance will give the program for June. Persons with any interest in quilting are invited to join.
