P.E.O. Iowa Chapter MJ announceS that Tarryn Bell, of Marshalltown High School, has been awarded the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship, one of six international philanthropy projects of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. The $2,500 scholarship is awarded to a high school senior woman who exhibits excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service and potential for future success. Bell is attending the Diagnostic Sonography program at St. Catherine’s University in St. Paul, Minn., this fall.
