Last Wednesday night, two of the three Marshalltown High School $750 Scholarship winners attended a special Evening Lions meeting. President Bill Peden is shown here with Letticia Herrera (center) and Yessenia Alverez Zomora, who are going to Iowa State University and Grinnell, respectively, in the fall. Bawi Par also won a $750 Scholarship to Iowa from the Evening Lions. Eight other Evening Lions were honored and inducted to the 2023-24 Board of Directors and Debi Estabrook won both the Lion of the Year Award and the Warren Coleman award for her exceptional work in the community and Lions Kidsight efforts this past year. A new member, Kelly Kemp, was also inducted into Evening Lions by 9MC District Governor, David Coates.
