Twelve members of Chapter JU of the P.E.O. Sisterhood attended the Oct. 2 meeting which was held at Grimes Farm Conservation Center, hosted by Patty Bowman, Ann Bresler, Janelle Carter and Julie Schlesinger.

A business meeting was conducted. Following a “shared brown bag lunch,” Emily Herring gave an update on conservation projects at the marsh wetlands near Albion, the suspension bridge at Three Bridges, Timmon’s Grove and Green Castle.

Next JU chapter meeting will be 1 p.m. on Nov. 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church with the annual fundraiser and a style show by Tre’s Teal.
