The Garwin Lions presented a check of $500 to the Garwin Fire Department. The donation was earmarked to the building fund, which has been established for construction of a new building to house the current fire and ambulance equipment. Mark Polich, Lions Club president, presented the check to Nate Holven, Garwin fire chief. The Garwin Lions Club, established in 1952, currently has 18 members and actively supports the Garwin community with donations and assistance in community activities.
