Holy Land program presented at Chapter JU

P.E.O. Chapter JU met Feb. 5 at Journey Church with 20 members present and with the Tea Committee being Diana Johns, Marilyn Downs and Dee Burt.

A program was presented by Burt on her trip to The Holy Land, which occurred following the lifting of COVID related travel restrictions. It was reported that the updated International P.E.O. site is up and running and members are encouraged to sign in and actively use the site.

Two proposed amendments were presented and voted on for possible inclusion at the State Convention in June. The April 22 meeting will be held at “International” house in Des Moines and any members wishing to attend are asked to notify Secretary Marlys Smith so reservations can be made. Next meeting will be March 4 at Hope United Methodist Church.
