Chapter JU-LT hears CAPS program
Eighteen members of new Chapter JU-LT met on Feb. 3 at the Marshalltown Public Library. Prior to the business meeting, Emma Michels, director of community engagement for CAPS (Child, Adolescent & Parent Support) presented a program on health education.
Members enjoyed refreshments at this time provided by hostesses Karen Bursley, Rhonda Miller and Bonnie Herbold. Following the program, President Ann Isgrig ran the business meeting. Historian Joann Neven presented the new history album she is compiling with pictures from the merger meeting Jan. 20, articles and documents for Chapter JU-LT. The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. on March 3 at the Public Library.
