Herring speaks to Spinning Wheel chapter
The Spinning Wheel chapter of NSDAR met on Jan. 18 at the Embers. There were nine members and one guest present.
Regent Cathy Hanson opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and the American’s Creed. Chaplin Michelle Ankrum lead the Ritual. A short business meeting was held.
Emily Herring, director of the Marshall County Conservation Board, gave the program on Marshall County Conservation news. Timmons Grove received a bathroom and shower house in 2024. The improvements also included larger campsites and tree plantings. This spring Green Castle campground will be open for business.
Michelle Ankrum was hostess. The next meeting will be Feb. 15 at the Embers. Hostess will be Emilie Freiberg.
