James Christensen, founder and director of Bobcat Tennis Academy, presented information about this nonprofit tennis program established in 2018. It has grown from 14 students to 120 in 2024. The academy has produced 17 state individual qualifiers players/coaches. Besides tennis lessons, they host tournaments and award scholarships. Pictured with Christensen is P.E.O. NU Sister Jeanne Christensen, Calendar Committee, who also happens to be his mother. The program and business meeting was held at Hope United Methodist Church on March 3. The afternoon was hosted by Jeanne with Deanna Adams, Hollis Cassidy and Barb Ellcey serving on the tea committee.
