The recent meeting of P.E.O. Chapter JU-LT held its first new-member initiation since the merging of the two chapters at a luncheon and chapter meeting. Evelyn Hobson, a homeschool graduate, and current student at MCC was the recent initiate and daughter of member Christin Hobson and granddaughter of President Sharon Jensen.

Marlys Smith presented Evelyn with a plant and a P.E.O. bag containing a copy of the P.E.O. Constitution and Bylaws of the organization.

The next meeting will be held Oct. 6 with a theme titled “Get to Know Each Other,” and members are encouraged to bring their favorite pair of shoes.4
