Chapter JU-LT installs new officers

Outgoing President Ann Isgrig read her annual state president’s letter and was recognized and commended for her dedicated service upon completing three years as president of Chapter JU and the combined Chapter JU-LT. Isgrig then installed the newly elected officers for the 2026-27 year and passed the gavel to incoming President Marlys Smith.

Christin Hobson, treasurer, presented the budget committee report and highlighted the approved line item of two $1,000 Chapter JU-LT student scholarships to be given to high school seniors who will be attending MCC.

The chapter’s membership statistics were given by Debbie Morgan, outgoing corresponding secretary who served with excellence in this capacity for eight years.

The hostesses for the meeting were Isgrig, Carole Permar Lively, Kim Sogge and Connie Stansberry. The next meeting and program will be held at the Guiding Star location.
