Following the business meeting on March 2, Chapter NU elected officers for the year. Pictured left to right are Beth Grumstrup-treasurer and relief Chaplin, Janice Pageler-recording secretary, Mary Stevens-vice president, Christine Norman Hall-president, Martha Brestel-relief treasurer, Tina Nelson-corresponding secretary. Also elected but not available for the photo was Kathy Stevens-Chaplin, Deb Ruddick-guard and Val Sondag-relief guard. The State Convention delegate in May will be Norman Hall and alternate Stevens. According to Social Committee Chair, Jeanne Christensen (not pictured), our group donated encouraging gifts and gift cards valued at more than $350 to a woman attending Cottey College. This is one of many ways P.E.O. Chapters support women’s education.
