The group met at the MACC on April 20 and the program was given by Brittany Sichra, Marshalltown Chamber of Commerce’s Event and Tourism Coordinator. She explained the many phases of upgrades and construction happening in Marshalltown’s downtown area. Following the Master Plan developed in 2019 for the downtown area, she showed images of how Main Street will look in the future. Besides keeping everyone in the loop on the process, her other responsibilities are doing business spotlights and keeping the history alive. Margaret Gervich hosted the meeting with assistance from Jackie Mason, Brown and Linda Casady on the tea committee.
