On April 14, the Mental Clarity barbershop quartet of Vicky Grossman, Karla Moore, Mary Thomas and Valerie Sondag put on a presentation and performance for the Tuesday Musical Club. The presentation took place at the Central Christian Church in Marshalltown. The club members learned about history and elements of barbershop music. The quartet singers are members of the Sweet Adelines. Traditional and contemporary barbershop music was performed and enjoyed.
