Beta Sigma Phi installs new officers

Sigma Master Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi met for lunch at the home of Jan Keller, with Elaine Fiscus hosting the day for installation of officers. Dorothy Perry thanked them for the entertainment and food.
Roll Call was taken with the question: “What are your summer plans?” All members were present with one guest, Jackie Fiscus who assisted the host in serving Maid Rites, Char-cutie cups by Classy Nibbles, fruit and chips.
Alice Nicholson read the minutes of the April meeting, along with Barbara Noid (who was celebrating her 90th birthday) gave the Treasurer”s report. Perry announced that the Memorial Book for Ginny Bumsted was presented to her son Gary Bumsted at Harmony this morning. The book will be given to his sister for her keepsake.
Founders Day award was presented to Caralee Hutchens for her 65-year outstanding membership in Beta Sigma Phi. Summer meetings were discussed and Holy Grounds was chosen to meet 11 a.m. on June 9 for lunch.
Letter of appreciation was received from Carrie Loney, Meals on Wheels of Marshalltown for the recent donation.
