The 20th Century Club held its September Fall luncheon meeting on Sept. 21 at El Portal Restaurant.
The Marshalltown High School Mariachi Band, under the direction of Brett Umthun, serenaded the group with several favorite Mexican songs. Members invited guests to kick-off the first meeting with the club's theme, "Adventure Is Calling."
Officers for the 2026-27 year of the 20th Century Club were introduced with: Co-Presidents: Joy Bryant and Amy Snyder; Recording Secretary, Karen Schoell; Corresponding Secretary, Peggy Niedermann; Treasurer, Josette Peterson; Historian, Kay Lents; Auditor, Sarah Losey and Communications, Jean Leth.
