Jennifer Phillips Smith and John Stuart Harkness would like to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage to be held on the couple’s property in Huntsville, Mo., on Sept. 2. Jennifer is the daughter of Linda and John Arnett, of Tyler, Texas. John is the son of Barbara and Jack Harkness, of Marshalltown.

The bride is a former Paris runway model with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri. The groom previously held a position with MI-6 prior to graduating from Del Mar College with a degree in Radiologic Technology. John and Jennifer are employed by Moberly Regional Medical Center.

After a honeymoon in Maldives the couple resides in North Central Missouri.
