• Dawhan Robert Oliver made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge, a failure to obey a stop sign charge, a harassment-first degree charge, an interference with official acts-bodily injury charge and a possession of a Schedule II controlled substance-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 8. Oliver is released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within 72 hours to sign a pre-trial release agreement. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Jake Morgan Wallen made an initial appearance on a warrant charging him with failure to appear for an arraignment hearing. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The arraignment hearing is rescheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 2. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Antonio Villa made an initial appearance on a child endangerment-no injury charge, a trespass charge and a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 9. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Yianna Wallace made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. Tyler Heeren is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 7. Wallace is released on her promise to appear. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Andres Ramirez Moreno made an initial appearance on a trespass charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 10 in Magistrate Court. Ramirez Moreno is released on his promise to appear.

• Terry Matlock made an initial appearance on a sexual abuse-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 3. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Marquis Haynes made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-second offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Aug. 10. Haynes is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Tony Washington made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Christian Stickrod is appointed as counsel. The Department of Correctional Services Iowa Board of Parole will schedule the parole revocation hearing. Washington is being held without bond.

• Mint Lin made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on Aug. 10. Lin is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.
