• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to detector activation-no fire-unintentional at 20 Iowa Ave. W, two sprinkler activations-no fire-unintentional at 1700 S. Center St. and six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 501 1/2 N. Center St., West State Street and North Third Avenue, 1410 S. First St., 406 Melody Lane, 208 S. Third St. and 511 S. Ninth St.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a detector activation-no fire-unintentional at 909 Summit St., two dispatched/cancelled en routes to 2500 S. Center St. and 1200E. State St. and six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 207 W. Lincoln St., 1 W. Grant St., 1008 S. Eighth Ave., 208 W. State St., 504 Iowa Ave. W and 106 NewCastle Road.

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an alarm system activation-no fire-unintentional at 901 E. Olive St., a gas leak at 3109 S. Center St., a smoke detector activation due to malfunction at 1904 S. Third Ave., two excessive heat, scorch burns with no ignition at 503 N. Third St., three sprinkler activation-no fire-unintentional at: 108 Washington St., 2907 S. Sixth St. and 901 E. Olive St., a sprinkler activation due to malfunction at 20 Iowa Ave. W and six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 209 N. 12th Ave., 7 E. High St., 602 E. South St., 206 W. Grant St., 408 S. Ninth St. and 411 Summit St.
